Chinese army paints international boundary red

JK, Sep 6: Official reports stated that the Chinese Army violated the International Border by entering nearly 1.5 kilometres into the Indian territory near Mount Gya in the Ladakh region and painted boulders and rocks in the area red.

The Chinese wrote  'China' in Cantonese with Red spray paint

The 22,420 ft Mount Gya, also known as 'fair princess of snow' is located at the tri-junction of Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir, Spiti in Himachal Pradesh, and Tibet.

The boundary regarded as International boundary by both India and China was marked during the British era.

Sources reported that the border patrol discovered red marks on the various rocks and boulders along the Zulung La (pass) on Friday, Jul 31.

However, an Army spokesperson refused to comment on this matter saying it was an operational issue.
