New Delhi, Aug.31 (ANI): Former BJP general secretary and vice-president Pyarelal Khandelwal on Monday, in a letter written to L.K.Advani, Rajnath Singh and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has questioned the ouster of Jaswant Singh from the party and asked for a reconsideration of his expulsion. as he termed it a "hasty" decision.
Questioning the harsh action taken against Jaswant Singh, Khandelwal has asked the top leadership of BJP and RSS, said it was an action in a hurry and thus Singh deserves to be reinstated with full respect.
"I have written a letter in which I have asked for Jaswant ji's reinstatement in the party with full respect, as it was an action in a hurry by the party. The ban on book should also be revoked," said Pyarelal Khandelwal about the contents of the letter on a private channel on Monday evening.
Jaswant Singh has been expelled by the BJP for writing a book 'praising' M.A. Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. (ANI)
