H1N1: 6 deaths takes India's death toll up to 93

New Delhi, Aug 31: With six new Swine flu deaths reported across India on Sunday, Aug 30, the country's H1N1 death toll went up to 93.

According to the official data, four out of the six deaths took place in the worst-hit state of Maharashtra, while Gujarat and Kerala reported one death each.

Health Ministry also revealed that 128 people tested positive to the influenza A (H1N1) virus, out of which 27 were detected in Uttar Pradesh, 22 cases were in Delhi, 21 in Tamil Nadu, 17 in Karnataka and 10 in West Bengal.

With these new cases, the India has seen a total of 3,881 H1N1 positive cases since May 2009.
