New Delhi, Aug 29: Hyundai India Motors on Friday, Aug 29 revealed its plans to launch a new version of Santro in Sep 200 along with the decision phase out its hatchback Getz by 2011.
Speaking at the annual convention of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Company Managing Director and Chief Executive, H S Lheem said, "The Getz will be phased out in two years."
"We will launch a revised version of the Santro on September 1, and an 800 cc car in a few years," added Lheem.
Further, he also said that the company was planning on shifting the production of its i-20 model for export purposes to Europe in 2010 due to logistical reasons.
