Ramsar, Aug 29: Making his first comment on the turbulence in the Bhratiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday, Aug 29 said that the 'in-fighting' in the party was not good.
"It (infighting in BJP) is not good. In a democracy, stability in political parties is necessary. If there is instability, it will have an impact on the country," he said.
Along with Pokhran II, the controversy over Kandahar is 'needless', he said.
Manmohan Singh spoke to the reporters on this matter while in Ramsar, Rajasthan overseeing progress of NREGA projects.
