Prince Harry learning 'tricks of the track' from champion motorbike racer

London, August 16 (ANI): Prince Harry is so keen on learning how daredevil motorcycle riders speed at 200mph that he has signed up a world champion race to teach him.

Know for his love for motorbikes, Harry recruited Australian Chris Vermeulen after their last month's meeting at the British MotoGP at Donington Park, Leicestershire, following which the two of them became close friends.

Vermeulen introduced him to American motorcycle racer Randy Mamola who took Harry for a spin around the circuit, performing a wheelie for fans.

"When we met, Harry mentioned about getting some riding lessons off me. Then I had an email from his people saying they wanted to get it sorted out," the Daily Express quoted MotoGP racer Vermeulen, 27, a former World Superbike champion, as saying.

"I imagine he wants to get out there and get his knee down or learn how to slide the bike.

"Harry and William are really keen bikers and Harry was stoked that he could come to Donington because he is a big MotoGP fan. I spent a bit of time with him and he is a really cool guy. He's a normal person who loves his bikes and he was telling me he rides a Triumph 675.

"He did mention the cricket and I was trying to steer him off that but he was giving me a hard time about the Aussies. It proved you can have a bit of banter with him. He should be fun on rack," he added. (ANI)
