Now, Delhi ropes in Pvt hospitals to handle H1N1

New Delhi, Aug 12: Following Bangalore and Mumbai, Delhi is all set to bring in the priivate hospitals to screen and test Swine flu patients.

"The situation is under control in Delhi and there is no need to panic. Hospitals having more than 200 beds have been asked to separate people reporting swine flu symptoms and treat them," chief minister Sheila Dikshit reportedly said on Wednesday, Aug 12.

Till Tuesday, Aug 11 only government-run institutions were allowed to handle Swine Flu or H1N1 cases.

However, the chief Minister said that there was no need to close down schools and public places as the situation was under control.

As of now, there are 255 swine flu cases in the capital and two patients in the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital who are in critical condition.

I think it's high time the Govt stops issuing such statement situation is under control this may be sounding better however the disease is now grown and seems control is not there in site as death toll is rising everyday.
