Injuries stop Michael Schumaker's comeback

Berlin, Aug 11: Disappointing millions of fans, Michael Schumacher has called off his Formula One comeback at the European Grand Prix in Valencia saying that he is still trying to recover from the injuries that he sustained after a motorcycle crash that happened in Feb 2009.

The world champ was expected to fill in for Felipe Massa, who recently met with an accident, at the Grand Prix scheduled to begin from Aug 23.

On his website, Michael Schumacher wrote, "I am awfully sorry for the guys of Ferrari and for all the fans which crossed fingers for me. I can only repeat that I tried everything that was within my power. All I can do now is to keep my fingers crossed for the whole team for the coming races."

Jenson Button impresses Schumacher

London, Apr 28: British racer Jenson Button has won approval of racing wizard, Michael Schumacher.The seven-time world beater has been mightily impressed after seeing the Brit racer to three wins in the opening four races.That is according to Button's team chief Ross Brawn, who guided the German supremo to glory at Benetton and then Ferrari.Brawn said, "I've spoken to Michael about Jenson.
