England coach Capello has a goalkeeping crisis on his hands

London, Aug. 11 (ANI): England football coach Fabio Capello has a goalkeeping crisis on his hands with first choice David James out with a shoulder injury and stand-bye Manchester United keeper Ben Foster out of tomorrow night's clash in Holland after getting injured in the Community Shield against Chelsea.

According to The Sun, Capello is now looking to West Ham's Robert Green who impressed in the end of season World Cup qualifiers.

Veteran James will be 40 next August and is not getting any better while both Foster and Green are inexperienced when it comes to major games.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard has said that England's stars have a golden opportunity to make an 'imprint' on the game with a friendly in Holland tomorrow night and hope to end it by lifting the World Cup for the first time in 44 years.

Chelsea midfield ace Lampard said: 'it's a big year for every player in the squad, not just me. This is always going to be a big one to try to make an imprint as individuals and as a team that goes down in history, rather than being a group or a player who never got near winning the World Cup."

"You only have to look at how highly regarded the 1966 team are, and quite rightly so, as the only England team to have won the World Cup. We want to go and win the World Cup. It'd be a fantastic, history-making achievement but it is not easy," he added.

Lampard believes England can learn from the Australian cricket team's never-say-die attitude. (ANI)
