Manipur fake encounter: CM suspends 6 policemen

Imphal, Aug 5: Manipur Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi Singh on Wednesday, Aug 5 ordered a judicial probe into the alleged fake encounter of 27-year-old Chungkham Sanjit by police on Jul 23. He also suspended six policemen in connection with the incident.

Addressing a press conference, Singh said, "Further action would depend on the report of the judicial inquiry."

The Indian authorities in the northeast state of Manipur have issued shoot-at-sight orders after imposing indefinite curfew in its state capital Imphal, a new agency report said.

"The situation is under control, although tension still prevails. Shoot-at-sight orders have been issued against anyone found violating the curfew orders," the police official said.

"We shall review the situation and see if we can relax curfew for a few hours to enable people to buy essentials," he added.

its good for us but not happy coz wht we want is take the action of dismiss they six personal police have a mentality problem so thts why we dont 1 tht police personal better to kill them all of six
