Redmond, Jul 29: The deal that left Yahoo and Microsoft wrangling for over a year now has been finally sealed. The two companies have formally announced that they have reached an agreement, which promises better internet search experience for both the users and the advertisers.

As per the deal, Microsoft will now power the Yahoo search and Yahoo will become the exclusive worldwide relationship sales force for both companies' premium search advertisers.

Wikia details plans for search rival to Google
