Kuala Lumpur, July 29 (ANI): A Malaysian man turned his close friend's wife into a sex slave for four months after she snubbed his advances.
According to Harian Metro, in order to prevent her from escaping when he went out to work, the man, in his 30s used to tie the 24-year-old victim's hands and legs to a table in his flat.
The man had started to lure the woman after her husband, who was an illegal immigrant from Myanmar, was arrested in March during a raid, reports The Star Online.
Both men were close friends and the former had rented a room in the same flat that the victim was staying in Rawang.
However, the woman refused his offer of marriage because she still loved her husband and two children.
Infuriated by the rebuttal, the man locked her up in the flat, where he raped and thrash her repeatedly.
The woman was rescued by authorities after a neighbour lodged a complaint with the police.
Gombak OCPD ACP Abdul Rahim Abdullah said the police were now searching for the suspect, who had gone into hiding. (ANI)
