World's first camel milk chocolate to go on sale globally

London, July 22 (ANI): Move over cow or goat's milk, the world's first chocolate made out of camel milk from Dubai is set to go on sale around the world.

Al Nassma in partnership with the Austrian chocolatier Manner manufactures the end product at its Dubai facility.

The company behind the desert chocolate said it wanted to be "the Godiva of the Middle East".

Also, it revealed that it's in talks to expand into new Arab markets, Japan, the United States and Europe, reports The Telegraph.

With 3,000 camels on its Dubai farm, Al Nassma aims to produce 100 tons of premium camels' milk chocolate a year.

The company sells chocolates through its farm-attached store as well as in luxury hotels and private airlines.

"We aim to be the Godiva of the Middle East," said Martin Van Almsick, its general manager.

"It's a luxury product, so we will never be in supermarkets. The plan is to be in one mall in each UAE city," he added.

The company claims that all chocolates are produced without preservatives or chemical additives with a range of locally popular spices, nuts and honey.

According to Van Almsick, camels' milk is considered healthier than cows' milk, containing five times more vitamin C, less fat, less lactose and more insulin. (ANI)
