'I'm engaged' tweets Ivanka Trump

Washington, Jul 17: Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka has got engaged to the New York Observer's publisher, Jared Kushner.

"I got engaged last night," Ivanka Tweeted on Thursday, Jul 16.

"Truly the happiest day of my life!!!" she added.

Recently, Ivanka told New York magazine that she was glad to be with someone who understands her lifestyle, reports People.

"Jared and I are very similar in that we're very ambitious," she said.

"That's what makes it so amazing to be in a relationship with someone who is supportive of that," she added.

The 27-year-old also told the magazine she is converting to Judaism for her fiance.
