Lahore, July 17 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set for further turmoil, as sources claim that Aamir Sohail has decided to resign from his post following altercations with the board chairman Ijaz Butt.

The Daily Times reports that Sohail has sent his resignation letter to a close relative of Butt, however he is not making his resignation public hoping for a settlement with the PCB.

According to sources, Sohail, as director NCA and Game Development had forwarded several plans to the PCB, but the board's reluctance to release funds for their implementation is supposed to have irked him.

Earlier, PCB's Director Human Resource, Wasim Bari had issued a show cause notice to Sohail asking him to explain his absence from the ICC Development Course held in England recently. (ANI)
