Mumbai, Jul 17: Ratan Tata fulfilled the promise he made to the people of the country five years ago when he handed over the keys of the first Nano cars on Friday, Jul 17.
The first customer, Ashok Vichare who came with his family received the keys of the very first silver Nano from Ratan Tata himself.

Two more customers will be receiving the the cars in the event. One of these would be silver and another yellow, say media reports.
The first one Lakh cars are expected to be delivered by 2010, the company said earlier.
The Rs 1 Lakh car is the world's cheapest car. The businessman who faced a lot of troubles through the fives years stood his ground to successfully hand over the people's car to the people in 2009.
