PM asks Gilani to bring 26/11 culprits to justice

Egypt, Jul 16: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit on Thursday, Jul 16.

Manmohan Singh has asked Gilani to ensure that perpetrators of Mumbai terror attacks are brought to justice. While, Gilani has assured Singh that Pakistan would do everything in its power to bring perpetrators of Mumbai attacks to justice.

A joint statement was also issued after PM-Gilani meeting which said the two countries agree on terror being the biggest threat to the sub-continent.

The both leaders have agreed that dialogue is the only way forward. However, they have also pointed out that terrorism should be linked to composite dialogue process and these should not be supported.
