Prof Sabharwal Murder: Court acquits 6 accused

New Delhi, Jul 13: All the six accused in the murder of Professor H S Sabharwal were acquitted by a Nagpur sessions court on Monday, Jul 13.

The Professor's son, Himanshu Sabharwal has revealed that the six students who were accused of murdering the Prof HS Sabharwal in the college premises was let off by the court citing lack of evidence, a media report said.

The accused were members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student body affiliated with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)H S Sabharwal who was a professor in a Ujjain college was killed in Aug 2008. The incident took place after he was reportedly attacked by a group of students who were protesting against the cancellation of student body election in the university.

Since the professor had declared that the student elections were not valid anymore, he was allegedly attacks by a few students of Madhav College and ABVP leaders.

Was this result not expected? The entire thing is corrupt with politicians always interfering in judiciary. College is supposed to be a temple and it has become a goonda land
