No Indians attacked in Afghanistan: Government

New Delhi, July 11(ANI): Government on Saturday claimed that no Indians were killed in Afghanistan following a Pakistani media report which said that six Indians were among 18 people killed in a Taliban attack in Paktia province of Afghanistan.

"We checked up and found that this report is untrue," a source in the External Affairs Ministry said.

Earlier, Pakistan's Dawn News TV channel had reported that 18 people were killed and 20 injured in a Taliban attack on an Indian construction company in Paktia.

The Afghan Taliban had claimed responsibility for the attack carried and an unnamed spokesman was quoted by the TV channel as saying that Indian, Afghan and African nationals were among casualties in the attack.

The channel had also quoted a police official in Paktia as saying that six Indian workers and 10 Taliban were killed in the attack. (ANI)

Shahrukh Khan's house in Mumbai attacked

Mumbai, Feb 13 (ANI): Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan's bungalow in Mumbai's Bandra locality was attacked early this morning.Two or three unidentified persons threw bottles filled with kerosene at Khan's sea-facing house 'Mannat' and fled from the scene.The security men at the actor's house failed to catch the miscreants.None of the residents of Mannat were present in the house when the incident took place.Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged and the police are investigating the.....
