New York, July 10 (ANI): Italian luxury goods manufacturer VBH has admitted that it had mistaken the clutch bag toted by U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama earlier this week while on a trip to Russia for its 5,950-dollar alligator manila bag.
VBH representative Kelly Vitko retracted the claim following the White House's counter-claim that the First Lady was carrying an 875-dollar VBH patent leather clutch.
"If that's what the White House is saying, then it's a patent bag," the New York Daily News quoted Kelly as admitting. he earlier appeared certain about the clutch being the nearly 6,000-dollar version.
"It's definitely ours (manila bag)," she had said.
However, she now says that she made an assumption and misidentified the bag. (ANI)
