DU: Unfilled OBC seats may go to general category

New Delhi, Jul 10: According to a media report, about 30 to 40 per cent of the OBC quota seats in the Delhi University colleges are left unfilled. This comes as a good news for those students who have not qualified even for the fourth cut off list was published on Thursday, Jul 9.

CNN-IBN reports that these unfilled seats will be thrown open to the students in the general category soon. About 18 per cent of the total seats are set aside for the students under the OBC quota. Even after the cut off percentages were cut 2 to 3 per cent, many of the OBC students still failed to qualify.

The formal announcement regarding the opening up these unfilled seats to the general category students is expected to be made by Aug 15.

sir i got 74.6% in pcm in cbse board exams,i got admission in phy honours bt i want to get admission in chemistry honours...so could u please tell me that can i get admission in chem honours in any of the college in north campus????
