Hyundai unveils petrol, diesel variants of i20

New Delhi, Jul 8: Hyundai unveiled the new petrol (automatic) and diesel variants of the i20 on Tuesday, Jul 7. The launch of the 1400 cc cars seems to be a last attempt to revive its recession-hit sales also affected by the stiff competition from other companies.

“We hope to nearly double the sales of the i20 after the launch of these two new versions to 4000 units monthly," Hyundai India MD HS Lheem said.

The base diesel version of the car comes with a price tag of Rs 6.19 lakh. The petrol automatic has a starting price of Rs 7.31 lakh.

With these two launches the company tries to make place for its models in the premium compact category that in which a line of new cars have been introduced recently, such as Maruti Ritz and Fiat Grande Punto.

Tamil Nadu: Hyundai workers arrested

Chennai, Feb 2: More than 100 workers of automobile major Hyundai were today arrested when they assembled at a place without police permission to give a memorandum to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Police said the workers were held when they assembled at Kumananchavady near Poonamallee, through which the Chief Minister had to pass to reach Sriperumbudur to inaugurate the new plant of the car major. Ritz is a great car with cool interiors and even the leg space in the car is huge and the engine is best in Technology. with K-12 engine its made of Aluminium and is very powerful and best part its from Maruti.

Ritz is definitely the best car in its segment today.I own a petrol version,and I own a Ritz VDI ABS great drive enjoying it 2500 KM done in city average mileage till date 15.54KMs. It is smooth and refined. Enjoying driving and i am waiting for a long trip in it compared with i20,ritz is really too good in its segment
