Pak govt appeals against Hafiz Saeed's release

Lahore, Jul 3: The Pakistan's Punjab government has filed an appeal against the Lahore High Court for releasing Jammat-ud-Dawa chief, Hafiz Saeed who was one of the prime accuse in masterminding the terrorist attacks in mumbai, 2008.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that they have filed an appeal against the release of JuD supremo. He also went on to say that Hafiz Saeed's free movement would pose a threat to the national security of the nation.

Earlier, Hafiz Saeed was released on Jun 2 after the Lahore High Court ruled that authorities had not presented enough proof against him.
