Actor Shiney Ahuja's judicial custody ends

Mumbai, Jul 2: The judicial custody of Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, who was arrested for allegedly raping his domestic maid, ends on Jul 2.

On Jun 18, Ahuja was remanded to judicial custody till Jul 2 by a local Mumbai court. The DNA test report of Ahuja confirmed that he sexually assaulted the victim. Earlier, medical reports had confirmed that Ahuja's maid was indeed raped.

The actor has been charged under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 376 with rape, along with wrongful restraint and intimidation. The police arrested Ahuja on June 15 after preliminary medical tests on the girl confirmed sexual assault.

Mumbai police said the actor had admitted to making a mistake by having consensual sex with the maid who has levelled allegations of rape against him.

Jammu, Oct 18: The police today arrested a youth for raping his five-year old cousin in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Sources informed that the accused, identified as Rajinder (20), allegedly raped the minor at Karal Bani village of Garnah Morh in Reasi district when the family members of the victim were not at home. Acoording to sources, the parents of the victim had gone to see the 'Ram Lila' last night when the accused entered their house and allegedly.....

Minor girl raped in East Godavari district

Kakinada, Jan 4: Police have launched a hunt for Avula Daveedu (19) who allegedly raped a minor tribal girl (12) while she was grazing cattle near a choultry on the outskirts of Jaggampet village in East Godavari District. The girl, who was allegedly raped on January 2, is sent for medical examination to Kakinada government general hospital, according to police sources. UNI.....
