Torres predicts "Big Four" will turn to "Big Five" in next year's Premier League

London, July 1 (ANI): English football giant Liverpool's striker Fernando Torres has predicted that Manchester City would join the Premier League title race next season to make it the "Big Five", with Liverpool, champions Manchester United, FA Cup winners Chelsea and Arsenal.

The striker believes that the big-spenders -Manchester City- are putting a strong team together to be one of the title contenders next season.

"City are putting together a strong team with good signings," the Daily Express quoted Torres, as saying.

He conceded that Liverpool doesn't have the kind of funds that City, Arsenal or Man U have, but believed that the Reds will be tough competition for the teams.

"I'm sure United and Chelsea will be our main rivals, but you can't leave Arsenal or Manchester City out of the equation," Torres said.

"United have yet to sign players with the money they received from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, but he will be sorely missed along with Carlos Tevez. We will have to wait and see which players they bring in," he added.

Torres also showcased strong confidence on his team and believed that Liverpool would use advanced tactics next season in view of the Premier League.

"The Premier League is Liverpool's main goal for next season. We are going to set our sights on the title, and this time we are going to try to be more clinical at home against the so-called weaker teams," he said. (ANI)
