Three injured by grenade blast outside J and K High Court

Srinagar, June 27 (ANI): Three Central Reserve Police Force personnel were injured Saturday, when militants hurled a grenade at Jehangir Chowk, adjacent to the High Court here.

The blast took place at around 2.15 p.m., a police spokesman said, adding that the injured have been admitted to a hospital. The condition of one of them was stated to be critical, he said.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. (ANI)

Beijing, Dec 29: Two consecutive explosions of detonators killed five and injured eight in north China and the death toll was expected to rise as rescuers searched through the rubble of flattened buildings, state media said today. NATO soldier killed in southern Afghanistan

Kabul, Dec 28: A NATO soldier was killed and three injured, one seriously, after a blast caused their vehicle to crash during a reconnaissance mission in southern Afghanistan, the alliance said today. It did not give the nationalities of the soldiers, nor more details of yesterday's incident in Helmand province, a Taliban stronghold. NATO said in a statement it was investigating.
