Mumbai, Jun 17: Shiney Ahuja has finally confessed that he did rape his 18 year old domestic help on Sunday, Jun 14. The Bollywood actor reportedly broke down after the medical reports of the victim confirmed that she was sexually assaulted.
Ahuja who confessed the crime to the police was quoted as saying, “The maid resisted but I forced her into it. I told her that she should stay mum. I was confident that she would not tell anyone of the incident and I was ready to give her whatever she wanted to make sure that she would keep quite. I have made a grave mistake."
Until now, the actor maintained that he had consensual sex with his housemaid.
The police who witnessed his emotional breakdown revealed to the media on Wednesday, Jun 17 that the Ahuja was remorseful.
"He is completely shattered and is repenting for what he had done," Assistant Police Commissioner Dilip Suryavanshi said.
