Mumbai, Jun 16: The medical report of the 18-year-old girl who alleged that Bollywood actor, Shiney Ahuja had raped her, has confirmed that she was sexually assaulted.
"We have received the medical report of the victim and it has corroborated what the victim has alleged against the actor in the FIR," Deputy Commissioner of Police Niket Kaushik was quoted as saying in a news agency report.
The police have also sealed the room in Ahuja's house in which the crime reportedly took place. A forensic team has already visited the room and collected evidence.
According to few media reports, the victim also told the police that the Bollywood actor made advances earlier on Saturday, Jun 13 and that she had rebuked him thinking that a warning will end the issue.
It was on Sunday, Jun 14 that Ahuja asked her to get water into his room and forced himself upon her. After this he threatened her that if she makes this issue public, she will face dire consequences.
