SCO Summit: Manmohan, Zardari to meet on Jun 16

Yekatrinburg, Jun 16: All eyes are on the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit scheduled to happen on Tuesday, Jun 16 to see how the meeting between the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will go.

Even though the summit concentrates on repairing the global financial system when the world's emerging markets come together, India and Pakistan will wait to see if the meeting between the two leaders will bring any change to the Indo-Pak relations which took a serious blow due to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

India is still stubborn on its stance of not resuming talks with the neighbour as it believes that a Islamabad based terrorist organisation was involved in the attack that took lives of almost 200 people. Pakistan on the other hand has taken steps in its attempt to wash out terrorist organizations from its soil.

A formal half-hour meeting has been set up for the the two leaders in the afternoon. However, the content and format of the meeting is still unknown.

Anti-terror fight won't be affected by Mumbai attacks: Zardari
