Krishna urges Indian Students in Oz to be patient

New Delhi, Jun 9: In the wake of the new reports of Indians retaliating to the racial attacks against them, Indian foreign minister, SM Krishna has urged the Indian Students in Australia to be patient and exercise restraint.

"I would like our Indian students to be patient ... restrained. They have gone there to pursue higher studies, they should concentrate on that," SM Krishna said.The minister's comment came in the view of the recent incident where a 20-year-old Oz man was stabbed by Indian Students after he allegedly passed racist comments.

SM Krishna assured that Australian authorities have promised to take action to ensure the safety of the Indian student community down under.
