London, Jun 1 (ANI): Retired English footballer Paul John Gascoigne a.k.a. Gazza is said to have hit it off with his Geordie girlfriend Emma Kate Dawson, after he discovered that she too was a massive Magpie fan.
Dawson, 22, revealed that she and 42-year-old Gazza had met in London's Cafe de Paris, after she approached him for a picture together last month, and the passion they shared for the toon sparked the relationship between them.
"I literally bumped into him. I saw him looking over at me a few times, so I went and asked if I could have my picture taken with him as I'm a huge Newcastle fan," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
"After that, we got talking and I gave him my business card. It was very professional.
"We'd been texting and talking for about three weeks, and we went on our first date on Wednesday. That's when we ended up getting caught by the newspapers," she added. (ANI)
