AIIMS denies leakage of MBBS entrance paper

New Delhi, Jun 1: The question papers of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance exam which is being held across India on Monday, Jun 1 were reportedly leaked. However the AIIMS authorities denied that there has been any leak of question papers of its MBBS entrance examination.

When asked about the alleged leak, Y K Gupta, AIIMS spokesperson said, "No absolutely not. There is no substance in the allegations of any such leak."

Earlier on Monday, Jun 1, Ghaziabad police had detained three persons along with a set of question papers suspected to be that of AIIMS entrance examinations. Those arrested reportedly include an AIIMS staffer and two girls. Police had send the set of question papers to AIIMS authorities for verification. Investigation is on.

Abouth 8 lakh aspirants are appearing for the exam.

Ramadoss to sign degrees of 49 AIIMS scholars

New Delhi, Sep 3: In compliance with the Delhi High Court order, Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss would sign the degrees of 49 scholars of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) along with the ''temporary'' registrar, an appointment he had termed ''illegal''.
