UPA declares portfolios, Sibal gets Human Resource, Moily; Law and Justice

New Delhi, May 28 (ANI): Portfolios of the council of ministers, who sworn-in as ministers of UPA Government, were declared on Thursday evening with Kapil Sibal getting the Human Resource ministry and Veerappa Moily getting the Law and Justice ministry.

The arrangement of portfolios in Dr. Manmohan Singh-led UPA Government gives Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal ( the Ministry of Human Resource), Veerapa Moily (Law and Justice), Ambika Soni (Information and Broadcasting), Murli Deora (Petroleum), Jaipal Reddy (Urban Development), Meira Kumar (Water Resources), Salman Khurshid (Minority Affairs), Virbhadra Singh (Steel), and Vilasrao Deshmukh (Heavy Industries and Pubic Enterprises).

Pak Foreign Min. to visit India from Feb 20-23

New Delhi, Feb 18:  Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri will arrive here on February 20 on a three-day visit to co-chair the revived India- Pakistan Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) and have an overall review of the Composite Dialogue Process (CDP) with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.The Pakistan Foreign Minister who will have discussions with Mr Mukherjee, is expected to present a fresh set of proposals including the one on liberalising the 1974 visa regime between the two countries,.....
