Agatha Sangma, youngest minister in PM's team

New Delhi, May 28: Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh's team will have a representation of youth brigade this time. Among the 59 MPs who were inducted to the Cabinet, Sachin Pilot and Agatha Sangma are the new entrants from the brigade.

Milind Deora and Navin Jindal, other members of the brigade, however, failed to make it. Milind, elected from South Mumbai, lost out apparently because his father Murli Deora has been retained as Cabinet minister.Agatha Sangma, the daughter of former Lok Sabha Speaker P A Sangma, will be the youngest minister in the Manmohan Singh cabinet at the age of 28 years. Winning for a second time from Tura in Meghalaya, she belongs to the NCP.

Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasada, the other members of the youth brigade have retained their berths in the Council of Ministers.

Sonia, Manmohan meet over portfolio allocation

New Delhi, May 28: Just hours after the second swearing-in ceremony that took place on Thursday, May 28; Congress President, Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met to deliberate over portfolio allocation.The meeting which was held almost as soon as induction of 59 ministers in the Singh's team was attended by the Political Secretary to Congress president Ahmed Patel.
