Durga Soren
Bokaro, May 21: Eldest son of JMM chief Shibu Soren, Durga Soren died in Bokaro on Thursday, May 21 due to kidney failure.

39-year-old Durga was a former JMM MLA. He is survived by wife and three daughter. Durga Soren was taken to the Bokaro General Hospital after he complained of uneasiness. But doctors declared him brought dead.

Durga Soren, the party General Secretary contested and lost in the Godda Lok Sabha seat in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

Dumka, Aug 25: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) chief and former union minister Shibu Soren, who was exonerated by the Delhi High Court in the Shashinath Jha murder case on Wednesday, will be released from the Dumka central jail today. Talking to the sources, Soren's family sources said one special messenger reached Dhanbad this morning and left for Jamtara with the copy of the decision of Delhi High Court and the release order issued by the Tihar Jail authorities in Delhi. New Delhi, Aug 22: The Delhi High Court today held former Union Minister and JMM leader Shibu Soren innocent of murder charges in Shashinath Jha murder case. The division bench headed by Judges R S Sodhi and B N Chaturvedi held that the CBI had conclusively failed to establish Shibu Soren's role in Shashinath Jha's murder.
