Bus accident kills 5 Infosys employees in Belgaum

Mysore, May 21: The accident occurred early morning at Avandhi Ghat near Nippani in Belgaum district, about 300 kms from Pune.

Four of the deceased have been identified as Tushar Aggarwal and Agnivesh from Bihar, Ankita from Delhi and Rakshit Malhotra from Noida. The fifth is yet to be identified.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at KLE Hospital here. All the deceased were in the age group of 22 to 24 years.

Infosys has set up rescue operations at the site. Help desks have been set up at our Mysore, Bangalore and Pune development centers and the officials are in touch with the families of the impacted employees. Atleast 5 Infosys employees were killed and 10 injured in Belgaum of Karnataka after their bus overturned on Thursday, May 21 early morning.

The employees in the bus were heading to Pune. They were undergoing training in Mysore Infy campus.
