Bal Thackeray set to cut ties with nephew Raj

Mumbai, May 19: After questioning the Marathi community on Shiv Sena's defeat in the LS polls, Bal Thackeray now is all set to severe ties with nephew Raj Thackeray.

In the analysis of the poll results it was learnt that Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had split the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena votes in the state. Referring to this Bal Thackeray in a statement said, "Anybody who is an enemy of the Marathis is my enemy."

Reacting to this development, MNS vice president V Saraswat said since it was an issue between an uncle and his nephew, no one had the right to comment on it. He further added that MNS was as concerned about the Marathis as anyone else in the state.

Mumbai, Aug 17: A local court today slapped a fine of Rs 500 upon Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray for his failure to appear before the court on a petition filed by NCP leader Munna Tripathi. Mr Tripathi has dragged Mr Thackeray to the court for publishing allegedly provocative articles in ''Saamna'' newspaper on July 21 last year. Publication of such articles could foment hatred between communities, Mr Tripathi contended. Additional Sessions Judge S J Shah had earlier adjourned the matter.....

Shiv Sena-BJP ties to come up for review on Aug 17

Mumbai, Aug 16: BJP's strained ties with the Shiv Sena are likely to come up for review at the meeting of party state unit's office-bearers tomorrow. The meeting assumes significance in view of the demand from senior leaders, including Gopinath Munde and Nitin Gadkari, to terminate the 23 year old alliance after the Shiv Sena decided to back UPA candidate Pratibha Patil in the Presidential election last month. Even though Shiv Sena backed NDA candidate Najma Heptullah.....

Thackeray lashes at CPM for Nandigram crisis

Mumbai, Nov 16: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray today lashed out at the CPM for unleashing a reign of terror in Nandigram and accused the Congress of being a mute spectator to ensure survival of its own coalition government at the Centre. Describing the Marxists as ''blood thirsty devils'', Mr Thackeray said he always held that the Marxists, who boast of morality and preach values to the world, were a blot on humanity. politics is becoming more and more dirty.The representatives of ppl are not worth of that.MNS ppl beat the Abu AAjmi in front of camera.this is shame.on the other hand Madhu coda swallow the hard earned money of ppl.how can anyone believe these dirty politicians.wht poor ppl want is that only ,food,cloths n shelter..shame on these politicians.but we general ppl are also responsible for that we select these dirty poilticians

I guess all eyes are on MNS chief Raj thackeray, he and his party our now a force to Reckon with. He is the upcoming star and very rightly said by RAJ he will decide the next CM of Maharashtra, All the best to you Raj and hope you succeed in developing and making Maharashtra the pride of India, Congratulations on the Lokh Sabha results although your candidates did not win we are very sure you will hold the political sway in the next general elections.
