UPA now in govt formation mode

While the Congress-led UPA is submerged in taking steps toward forming the new government, Bharatiya Janata Party's L K Advani has decided to quit the opposition. However BJP's board is not ready to accept this move, the media reports.

Manmohan Singh is all set to take up the office of Prime Minister for the second time. Expressing gratitude to the electorate of the country, Manmohan Singh says he wants Rahul Gandhi in his Cabinet.

UPA's win has taken the nation by a storm out performing in almost all the states with a heavy lead.

While some of the results have shocked the nations, other have only reassured their expectations.  Mamata's victory over Left in West Bengal left the country wide eyed, Varun's win in Pilibhit was expected.
