Music album recorded based on teachings of Mahatma Gandhi

Mumbai, May 6 (ANI): Bollywood recorded a new music album inspired from the principle of non-violence propagated by Mahatma Gandhi.

The album titled 'Timeless Mahatma' is based on Gandhi's non-violence movement keeping in mind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

Music Director Ravindra Jain composed the songs for the album. The album has six songs, based on the teachings of Gandhi.

"Whatever principles Gandhi adopted were propagated by Lord Mahavir and Buddha, who we worship. The best thing about our present generation is that they are flexible. If they think it is convincing, they are not rigid and they are ready to accept that," said Jain.

Bollywood singers Shaan and Sadhana Sargam lent their voices for the music album.

"We want the message of the song that is non-violence, to reach out to the people who are in need. We will sing and people will listen," said Shaan, a Bollywood singer.

The album is specially aimed at spreading the message and teachings of non-violence of Mahatma Gandhi. (ANI)
