Modi can ensure India's progress: Raj Thackeray

Pune, May 5: Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) supremo who gave a talk on 'Maharashtra of my dream' at Nigdi town was all praise for Narendra Modi and said that India need a man like Modi for the top executive job to ensure rapid progress.

His comments on Modi raised speculation of possible alliance between MNS and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the comming assembly elections in Maharashtra. However BJP downplayed Raj's remarks and said that BJP's alliance with Shiv Sena was strong and 'intact'.

MNS support to BJP is being seen in the context of bitter exchange between Shiv Sena and BJP during the seat-sharing process prior to election. Also Sena's open support to Sharad Pawar as 'Marathi' prime ministerial candidate have irked BJ leaders who accused the party of going against the NDA of which it is a constituent.

Mumbai, Apr 11: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray today said he had never asked Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan to leave the state. Speaking at a function here, Raj, who is continuously in the news for the last three months for his diatribe against North Indians, said ''I had never asked Amitabh to leave Maharashtra.'' Bhopal, Mar 30: Maharashtra Minister of State for Housing and Social Welfare Pritam Kumar Shegaonkar has charged the BSP with fostering casteist ideology. Alleging that the BSP was encouraging communal forces, Mr Shegaonkar told reporters here today that the BSP had abandoned the ideology of dalit messiah Dr Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. MNS to celebrate Shivaji Jayanti on Mar 24

Mumbai, Mar 23: Preparations for the Shivaji Jayanti celebrations organised by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) are on the verge of completion at Shivaji Park, Dadar here. Speaking to to the sources, MNS office bearer Sandeep Deshpande said around 40,000 to 50,000 people from the State are expected to take part in the celebrations. This is the first public gathering organised by the party after restriction imposed on its chief Raj Thackeray last month by the city police from holding public rallies,.....

Gandhiji did his level best to spread in india however one educated goon Raj Thackeray is spreading voilence between hindu-hindu and between indian-indian. "MNS did such a disgusting thing in the state assembly which is not forgivable. Raj thackeray should be abolished from the politics as whichever he is doing that is not for marathi that is for publicity of his party. Raj should suicide as his whole things which his did since he came in party is not forgiveable ..............."
