Washington, May 1 (ANI): Michelle Obama is having a hard time getting her daughter to fulfil their promises about dog-care.
The First Lady revealed she woke early in the morning to take their six-month-old pooch Bo, a Portugese water dog, for a walk while Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7 were supposed to be doing their bit in raising the mutt.
"I got up at 5:15 a.m. in the morning to walk my puppy," People magazine quoted her as saying.
"Even though the kids are supposed to do a lot of the work, I'm still up at 5:15 a.m. taking my dog out.
"So for everyone who has a child asking for a puppy - you have to want the dog. As I do. I love my Bo," she added.
The better half of the US President further said both the girls were turning out to be promising young ladies.
She added: "The girls are happy and healthy. They love their school. They're making friends. They're getting good grades." (ANI)
