Grenade blast in Assam hotel, one woman seriously injured

Karbi Anglong (Assam), May 1 (ANI): A woman was seriously injured during a grenade blast, which occurred at a hotel in the Manja Town of Assam's Karbi Anglong district, about 300 kilometres from main city Guwahati, here on Friday evening.

The grenade blast, which took place in the evening at the Sagar Hotel in Manja Town, damaged a part of the hotel. (ANI)

Grenade blast at Amarnath base camp injuries 20

Srinagar, July 18: A grenade blast at Amarnath base camp, Baltal, left twenty persons wounded including a yatri from Uttar Pradesh and a bus driver from Delhi, a police spokesman said tonight. However, another police spokesman said the number of injured in the blast is 14. He said unidentified militants hurled a hand grenade near the entrance of heavily guarded Baltal base camp at 2100 hrs. He said 14 persons including one.....

Srinagar, Nov 24: Security forces averted a major tragedy when they detected and later defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a hotel, where a fierce gun-battle had taken place recently, at Apple-rich Sopore town in Baramulla district of north Kashmir today. Imphal, Nov 01: Unidentified miscreants today hurled two bombs at the residences of two engineers in two separate incidents here. Police said the miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) N G Rashtrapati's residence at Singjamei in Imphal.
