Five injured during JKLF anti-election protest in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 1 (ANI): At least five persons, including two policemen, were wounded during clashes between the police and activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front in Srinagar's Batmaloo area on Friday.

The incident took place when the JKLF supporters were protesting against the holding of elections in the Kashmir Valley. (ANI)

Yet another blast by ULFA at Pakhorijam

Guwahati, Jan 24: The ULFA militants triggered blasts at Pakhorijam in Asom's Tinsukia district today morning.However, there has been no reports of casuality. China blasts kill 5, death toll likely to rise

Beijing, Dec 29: Two consecutive explosions of detonators killed five and injured eight in north China and the death toll was expected to rise as rescuers searched through the rubble of flattened buildings, state media said today. Yesterday's blasts destroyed 10 rooms in four buildings in a residential area in Jining, a remote city of 200,000 in Inner Mongolia, Xinhua news agency said. At least three of the injured remained in critical condition, Xinhua.....

NATO soldier killed in southern Afghanistan

Kabul, Dec 28: A NATO soldier was killed and three injured, one seriously, after a blast caused their vehicle to crash during a reconnaissance mission in southern Afghanistan, the alliance said today. It did not give the nationalities of the soldiers, nor more details of yesterday's incident in Helmand province, a Taliban stronghold. NATO said in a statement it was investigating. Most troops deployed in Helmand as part of the NATO-led International Security.....
