New Delhi, Apr 23: A day after Aakriti Bhatia, a student of Class XII of Modern School, Delhi passed away due to a Asthama attack, the relatives and friends of the deceased have aroused great deal of attention blaming the school for their negligence that led to the death of a student.
As the relatives continue to blame the school authorities, the school stands its ground saying that it did what ever was necessary for the situation.
Aakriti's parents on Thursday, Apr 23 filed a complaint against the school in the Vasant Vihar police station and have demanded action against the school authorities.
The students expressed their disapproval of the incident by wearing black, holding placards and carrying on a candlelight march. They have called upon the Education Department to take note of the this incident that has cost a student's life.
Aakriti Bhatia has complained of breathlessness at 10 AM but by the time she was taken to the hospital she had passed away. Her parents and friends since have held the school authorities, especially the Principal of the school, Goldie Malhotra responsible.
