Manmohan Singh is a genius: Salman Khan

Vadodara, Apr 20: While campaigning for Satyajeet Gaekwad, a Congress candidate from Vadodara constituency, Bollywood actor Salman Khan expressed his support towards Manmohan Singh becoming the Prime Minister again.

"I would love Manmohan Singh to be the Prime Minister. I think he is very smart man and a genius," he said adding that Rahul Gandhi would be the next best bet.

Khan, who has earlier campaigned for his friends cutting across the party lines, said that Rahul could follow Singh 'when he was ready'.

Earlier, Khan had campaigned for Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel in Bhandara region in Maharashtra.

He has also campaigned for veteran actor-turned-politician Vinod Khanna, a BJP candidate from the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab.

Jodhpur, Aug 29: Rajasthan High Court judge Gopal Krishna Vyas today refused to hear the bail petition of Bollywood actor Salman Khan on grounds of judicial propriety. A different bench of the court to be headed by Justice H R Panwar would hear the bail petition of the actor tomorrow. Jodhpur, Aug 29: Rajasthan High Court Judge today refused to entertain the bail plea of actor Salman Khan today on grounds of judicial propriety and the case has been transferred to another bench.
