Mulayam Singh unveils SP's manifesto

Lucknow, Apr 11: The Samajwadi Party (SP) released its party manifesto on Saturday, Apr 11 at press conference.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, while releasing the manifesto vowed to abolish the 'expensive education in English'. SP manifesto also speaks of reducing the use of computers which in turn generate more jobs. Ironically Mulayam's sons had their education in English medium schools.

The party manifesto promises some boost to farmers too. It speaks of abolishing mechanised farming, which snatches job away from the traditional farmers. The manifesto vowed schemes that would lead to the development of the small and medium enterprises of the state.

The party said that it would work towards better relationship between India and its neighbours like Pakistan and Bangladesh.

SP leaders Sanjay Dutt and Amar Singh were also present at the press conference.

UNPA leaders to visit blast sites in UP

Vijayawada, Nov 25: A delegation of United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) leaders will visit the blast sites in Uttar Pradesh today. Announcing this at the ''rythugarjana'' rally here last night, Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh said the delegation would include UNPA chairman, convenor, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu. The delegation would visit the court premises of Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad, where the bombs went off on November 23, killing 13 people.....
