Amritsar, Apr 10: Shilpa Shetty, Indian actress and co-owner of Rajasthan Royals team of the Indian Premier League offered prayers at the Golden Temple, Amritsar for the success of her team.

The actress was accompanied by other Bollywood stars like Jitendra, Prem Chopra and Poonam Dhillon.

"IPL season is going to start. I have prayed that Rajashthan Royals does good this time," said Shetty.

Since there was trouble getting clearance for the tournament dates due to general elections in the country, the Board of Control for Cricket, India (BCCI) decided to stage the event overseas. Therefore, this IPL season is being hosted by South Africa.

The eight-team league has been shifted to South Africa from Apr 18 due to security reasons and would return to India next season.

Agnihotri will shoot in UK despite racial abuse

Bhopal, Dec 4: Bollywood film director Vivek Agnihotri today said instances of racial abuse would not deter him from shooting in London, which is one of the dream destination for film-makers. Talking to the sources here today Mr Agnihotri affirmed that their 'Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal' film crew, including John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, suffered racism in England. Stating that racial abuse is not a new experience for him as he had also undergone similar experience while shooting his last directorial venture.....
