London, April 10 (ANI): Scarlett Johansson has dismissed rumours that she has embarked upon a strict diet and fitness regime over fears that she would lose out on acting roles to thinner stars.
In recent months, Johansson showed off a more streamlined figure, having previously maintained she was proud of her curves.
Her weight loss sparked speculation that actress is on a crash-diet to keep up with slimmer Hollywood stars.
However, Johansson has laughed off such rumours, insisting that her new slimmed down look is the result of getting in shape for her role as the Black Widow in the upcoming 'Iron Man' sequel.
"The press is making something out of nothing. She is simply getting into shape for a very demanding, physical role in Iron Man 2," the Daily Express quoted her spokesman as saying. (ANI)
