Mansoor Peerbhoy admits to sending terror e-mails

Mumbai, Apr 10: The whiz kid of Indian Mujahideen (IM), a terror outfit, Mansoor Peerbhoy has confessed of having sent the e-mails just minutes before the Ahmedabad and Delhi serial blast since 2008.

Software Engineer by profession, Peerbhoy was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch last year. His confession was recorded before a magistrate and was opened by a special MCOCA court in Mumbai on Thursday, Apr 9.

Peerbhoy also confessed of undergoing a week long training in Hyderabad of Andhra Pradesh for wireless hacking, website hacking and applications hacking paying Rs 70,000. He also said the court that 8 other people also were trained in the same technology raising security agencies concern.

"The course was organized by one Dr Laki Qureshi between May 14 to 19, 2007 in Katriya hotel in Hyderabad and besides me there were eight more participants who also underwent the same training," Peerbhoy said.

Indian Mujahideen or IM is the brain child of one Riyaz Bhatkal who coined the name sometime in 2005.

Cyber cafe owner held in Jaipur blasts probe

Lucknow, May 15: In a major breakthrough, the Uttar Pradesh Police has taken into custody a cyber cafe owner at Sahibabad in Ghazaibad district of the National Capital region (NCR) from where the e-mail claiming the responsibility for Tuesday's serial blasts in Jaipur was sent by the militant outfit Indian Mujahideen. The Ghaziabad Police confirmed the news of taking Madhukhar Mishra and his son into custody for interrogation. ''We are interrogating the duo to get all the information about the people.....
