Liza Minnelli urges 'Garland' filmmakers not to focus on her mum's drug addiction

London, Apr 10 (ANI): Hollywood actress Liza Minnelli has urged the makers of the flick based on her mother Judy Garland's biography, Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland, to not just depict the dark side of her life by focusing on her drug addiction phase.

While Minnelli has no issues with Anne Hathaway playing her mother's character in the flick, she wants that apart from the drug addiction, her mother's talent and virtues should be highlighted in the flick.

"Well, I love Anne Hathaway. And I hope that it's a good movie and I hope that it's true," the Daily Express quoted Minnelli as telling Canada's City TV.

"You know, that they don't just concentrate on the crap like they usually do," she added.

Minnelli said that people always ended up talking just about her late mother's problem's, and forgot to talk about real facts like her doting mother quality and how wonderful she was as a human being.

"(I hope) that they talk about her the way she should be talked about which was she was a fabulous entertainer, a great mother and just a wonderful human being," Minnelli added. (ANI)

British filmmakers attacked in Pakistan while shooting film on Taliban

Lahore, May 14 (ANI): Unidentified gunmen have reportedly attacked a British filmmaker and his crew near Balochistan capital Quetta.British filmmaker David Whitney was shooting for his film 'Kandahar Break', which is based on Taliban-rule in Afghanistan, when the crew members were shot at near Quetta, the BBC reports.All crew members were flown out of Pakistan immediately after the incident. No one was injured."Fortunately, we all survived, but it was terrifying. Four members of our crew were shot.....
